Following the huge success achieved by GAS GAS’s Wild HP 300-2T quad since its introduction a year and a half ago, the company is now unveiling three new engine
specifications for its quadricycle: 50-2T (automatic), 240-2T and 450-4T.

This aggressive-looking, extremely attractive machine that shares quite a few features with the EC range includes the main innovations applied to the Enducross units and improves quite a few engine components, apart from offering a lot of power regardless of its rate of revolutions. Within the two-stroke lower-displacement area, the balance axle has been improved, a new carburettor has been fitted, the water-pump turbine is now made of aluminium, and there is a steel centrifugal pinion. The Wild HP drive is identical to the FSE one (with electronic injection). These quads offer unique acceleration rates.

Some readily apparent changes make this a really attractive machine with an aesthetic design that seemed impossible to improve. Its new electric-blue decoration lends it a smart appearance (it will shortly become also available in red) and its sturdy quality results from the Öhlins shock absorbers and the guard bars fitted. Hills and rugged landscapes being its natural habitat, the chassis features an exhaust guard and has been treated with a spraying process that includes cataphoresis immersion. It has also been provided with a grid to rotect the radiator, the same odometer with a larger keypad that the rider can operate even with his/her gloves on, an exhaust guard, new footrests, and a new disconnecting switch. Although its flexibility when taking bends and in steering are superb, it has been equipped with zinc-coated steering joints and a number of improvements in the rear-wheel axle-tensioning system.

By replacing the former carburettor with an injection system, the highest-displacement quad model now shares the FSE 450 tank fitted with a returnless mechanism, and features improved wiring and a better battery-holding device. The new models include
rear-view mirrors.
